Today at 2am I had to gracefully and properly bury my friend of the past 15 years, Giada, during a rancid West Virginia snowstorm. Honestly I'm relatively upset and don't have much to say right now, but I figured I would open the door since I will return to really dig deep into it. God am I going to miss the unconditional love and companionship my little ninja always offered me... sad times man... damnit.

Thank you brother. Yes, sadly, such is life and the only guarantee in this journey is that everything passes on one day. The pup saved my life, literally, her mother as well whom passed in 2019. It's a surreal, sad moment in life for me today, knowing it was inevitable but struck with no warning. I am content with the burial and love I put into returning her to the Earth though. She went out properly and I would like to think she would appreciate the cermonious, bond driven goodbye she received.
I think I am going to plant a tree on her grave. Not sure what kind yet. To memorialize her time here more or less.
