I'm pretty certain that people associated with the @HiveWatchers account leaned pretty heavily on that man you are referring to here.
Not everyone is ready for this level of conflict especially when they are simply here on this social blockchain to earn a little crypto and bring good to their family.
Coercion and the RAW force of an overhanging downvote (Not to mention the feeling that there is a magnifying glass over every move made on this blockchain) would make many people buckle and say anything to get out of the kitchen.
Just because this man expressed himself in this way doesn't mean that the man doesn't have feelings about HOW his situation was handled.
Quite obviously he felt the heat enough to actually post a picture of himself holdingUP an apology sign. That's telling in and of it's self about the amount of pressure he is/was dealing with and why he might (understandably) be saying these things (see bellow for the links to both his apology post and the comment made here on this post).
It is understandable why he would want to back out of any conflict after dealing with everything this individual has recently went through.
I think that your points are void unfortunately this is a typical example of the collateral damage being done every day on this blockchain.
HOW needs to be evolved... It's damaging in more than one way.
We can reform and educate new (and old) users... but this is probably NOT best done by the 3rd party's policing the blockchain.
THIS clearly is NOT their role nor is it something that should fall within the scope of what they day. (referring to @HiveWatchers)
