The story of young techie aspiring to make the world a better place through technology.
I am Solomon Kershima Yateghtegh, a graduate of Computer Science from Tansian University with remarkable years of experience and a potential Prof in time to come but before I proceed about my Tech Travel Story here's what I do or known for. I'm a creative digital media savvy lives literally on the internet. Fascinating I guess 🤗. That's just the tip of the iceberg 😊.
18 years ago was the first I had a good time/experience with computing or computational device and immediately I had my first love letter from the internet space. This love letter 🤣 was all about the normal computer routine which was how to turn on/off the computer and this love circle went ahead till making me build incredible websites and apps afterwards. I remember years back when I use detergent to wash my dad's four square television set just because I saw myself being a renowned scientist. That unforgettable experience almost lost my love for computer but thanks to physics I had the TV set back and working. I began working in a cafe where I earned peanuts as a young teenage boy of less than 13 years. After 3 years, I built my first website though using virtual templates. This helped me even outshine my pals in college who had little or no idea about technology. I later grew into languages like c++, c#, PHP, html CSS, JavaScript but now I prefer to consult and supervise than sleep on code. How sad😳
Oh yeah, lest I forget. I come from a family of 9 siblings though one late (in glorious memories) and I am the 3rd born and 2nd male. That's 6 boys and 3 girls (Imagine having a basketball team just in one family 😂😂😅). I grew up always believing in God and respecting our elders, everyone can attest to how African culture can be, yeah. I'm married to the most beautiful lady on earth. I must say, God fashioned my wife and dedicated her specially and specifically for me 😍.
I love technology because it's the triumph of human intellect. The more I study to understand technology, the more I feel nothing is out of reach on this planet. Imagine that feeling of coding your first "Hello World" or trying to fix a bug on your PC.
I tried becoming a military officer for 3 years too but it seems that's not my calling. Probably, I was feeling so because of my fierce looks when I'm not smiling. You wouldn't want to see that 😂.
In the past 5 years I've lived my life impacting or creating social inclusive impact to people within and around me which brings me to being a Digital Skills trainer. I've trained over 5000 people on Google Digital Skills and Facebook Boost your business with Google and Facebook partners, I've been a public speaker preaching the gospel of technology. I've built amazing websites, I've supervised project and I'm also a broadcast engineer.
I love to watch Liverpool win at all costs even though Arsenal fans will always be feeling like they can be let out of losing the tournament🤣. I play volleyball at my leisure time and play station Console.
I write tech stories and live with Tech.
