RE: If I were Hive Dictator for a Day...

in #hive4 years ago

As dictator I would empower the devs to work to bring new users and investors alike. I don't see problem with this since we have the community function and its functioning quite swell.

I would take away the "reward adjustment" or add a second function where people can veto the DV through popular vote thus needing to have a stake large enough to counter a DV would be not an issue. this will give "the small fry" a space for his or her opinion on how content should be voted.

Example:

56 people vote up an art piece to $8 and @sunsetjesus votes his negative "reward adjustment" down. we are able to see this through clicking on the vote log. now imagine being able to vote again on each vote before post payout. this could Force people to post a comment about their stance on their vote rather than just blindly voting content. With more user attention, one wouldn't need to follow a trail although they still would exist. It is up to the curators to be responsible for their voted content up or down. The curators would have to be more mature than the average person. thus in theory this would bring real quality content to the top rather than just some brawny post for example.

or

remove shadowing low quality comments and content, we open up job positions to find shitposts ie abusive content and shadow ban that. hire hackers to find pedophile accounts ip and independent detectives to work together on the subject as well.

We remove the logo of HW and just replace their team with more adults that have training in ethics because most are children with brains for coding and nothing else. why remove the logo? The 🦉 is sacred. don't fucks with the wise owl.

hmn... some regular pillaging, false flag events etc etc the usual con games etc. things that go with dictatorship.

War is peace
Obedience is freedom
yada yada yada

lol jk on the last part.

This entire comment is precisely why social rewards should be primarily on layer two. It's a bunch of nonsense that most people don't want to deal with. It doesn't serve Hive or investors well at all, which is why our numbers are abysmal.

That may end up happening. I have already suggested it.
