Valentine to me means a day when people in love find time to celebrate love, themselves, and appreciate each milestones they might have reached separately or together.
Though The word "valentine" came into being from the Saint Valentine who is a Christian martyr who was said to have lived in ancient Rome. According to the story, Saint Valentine went against the ban on marriage from the emperor of his time and continued to perform secret weddings, earning him a reputation as a patron saint of lovers.
Today, "valentine" has evolved beyond not just romantic love but also friendship and affection. People around the world celebrate Valentine's Day by exchanging cards, gifts, and messages to express their love and appreciation for one another.
We celebrate valentine today because of it historical believe, symbols, traditional and because it a morden celebration and I am glad to have experienced and witness many of this day as a kid receiving gifts from parents, as a teenager, as a young adult and finally an adult.
For this year, I will be spending my valinetine's day with my pupils in my school. Am sending this special day with them because alot of children have things going on in their head this days that they find difficult to discuss with their parents.
Furthermore, I am seeing each time I spend with these children as the most fulfilling and memorable movements so far and I am bringing to see my profession as a calling rather than a profession.
So, I am going to be spending this year's valentine' day with them in other to creat yet another memorable and fulfilling movements.
