Hello my book-worm gang, I am so happy to be here to join and share our reading experiences. More than any things, books always cheer me up. You know, the tittles, the smells of paper, the fonts of the letters, and every thing that constitutes a book make that book so unique. That why I feel reading a book is like seeing a human, a friend. Therefore, I need to consider many factors to bring the good feelings for both, me and my book. And I really like the questions of our contest this time, they are so shareable. Here are my answers:
What is your favorite time or place to read?
Oh, Lord! Actually, I can read any times and anywhere if I can find myself some spare minutes. However, the most enjoyable time to me is in the early mornings Sunday, the day I don't have to work. So, I get up, make myself a cup of coffee then throw myself on a chair in my back yard. That is the time me and my books have each other. Nothing or no one can interrupt us, just the scent of coffee, the sounds of bird songs and the comfy feeling of touching paper. Isn't it great?
What makes you enjoy a book?
Well, that would be words, sentences, and languages. If it is too vague for you to get what I mean, let me explain it clearer. First, the words: I have seen myself got fascinated by words all the time. Words with its own meaning, emotion and power. Why must it be "grieving" but not "crying" , "hollow" but not "empty", "ambitious" but not "greedy"? The authors have a reason for their word choice, and that makes a book so beautiful. Second, sentences: Do you tell me I am crazy if I say sentences show you characters of a book. Some parts are so calm with its long sentences that allows your thoughts follow it smoothly until you totally absorb your feelings. Some parts, in opposite, are filled with short sentences that make you feel harsh, hurt, but strong. Those changes in the way authors express their sentences make the book become a journey. Unpredictable!
Do you like to read outdoor, before bed or on the bus on your way to work?
If it's not a Sunday morning then I would love to read before bed. Reading helps me sleep better. I am sort of person that have a lot of thinking and cannot sleep straight away at my bed time. With my books, I have somethings to focus my mind on. People love to talk to their loved ones at night time, I love to talk to my books.
I don't like the idea of reading on bus, people come on and out of the bus make me feel hard to concentrate. Moreover, the bus is moving with its shaky chairs will cause me headache if I try to chase the words.
Do you focus on character development, thoughtful messages, or the level of intrigue a plot generates in you?
Of course , I do. I read to learn. Books allow me to experience hundreds or thousands of lives. By witnessing how a character developed or listening to her perspective in a certain situation, I can grow up with her. And I have heard somewhere "A reader is a thinker". I think it's true because nothing can get straight to your mind stronger and linger there longer than a message of a book. When you got those "thoughtful messages", want it or not, it will follow you for your whole life, become a part of you, consciously or unconsciously.
I know when we love books we will never talk enough about them. That why I feel graceful that I can share my happiness of reading here with you guys. Wish you all the best and would love to hear from you. Cheers!

That's so inspiring, I try to read more, but there are always something else get in the way.
I know it's just excuses, but I'm trying to make time for reading 😂
Yeah, reading makes you look so calm outside but actually there is a tornado inside haha. It sometimes bring me the feeling I want to either hug or kill the person next to me immediately. You are a good writer so definitely a good reader too, I believe.
I hope reading will help me improve writing skills and learn new things at the same time, there's so much to learn 😂
