I'm missing from this platform for a few weeks: new studies and challenges, consolidating the routine and also with little inspiration to post, but on Friday I managed to inflate the tire of my bike and went to pedal a little in the park, see the trees and the blue sky, meditate a little on the lawn and be grateful for another day to live.
I've already made a post about the annatto tree in the Parque da Juventude and this time I discovered a Aroeira, or Schinus terebinthifolius, from the Anacardiaceae family, popularly known for the pink pepper seeds it donates to humanity. These grains are a very mild pepper, which I have tasted in ice cream, drinks and even as a fish seasoning. Its seed clusters are lush. It is a tree native to South America.
Next to him were two Cow's Paws (Bauhinia forficata, native to the Atlantic Forest), whose flowers are beautiful (reminiscent of orchids) and edible. A gray and brown butterfly that pollinated them caught my attention and, in the background, a huge black bee, one of those very hairy and chubby bees, which I think is the cutest thing in the world and swore they were Brazilian and stingless, but I found out that they are European and do have a stinger. That was close!
At the bottom of this tree was a man sleeping on the grass, under the shade of another tree. Brazil is a poor and unequal country and the number of homeless people is growing rapidly. Every time I come to the Youth Park I observe that many people "live" there during the day: they sleep, wash their clothes (maybe in the bathroom) and hang them on the lawn, date, walk in flocks that are sometimes singing (last time Cazuza sang).
I'm glad they find a shelter of beauty and silence to rest here, in the middle of nature. We all need it, because we are nature.

Estou sumida desta plataforma por algumas semanas: novos estudos e desafios, consolidando a rotina e também com pouca inspiração para postar, mas na sexta-feira consegui encher o pneu da minha bicicleta e fui pedalar um pouco no parque, ver as árvores e o céu azul, meditar um pouco no gramado e agradecer por mais um dia para viver.
Já fiz um post sobre o pé de urucum que tem no Parque da Juventude e desta vez descobri uma Aroeira, ou Schinus terebinthifolius, da família Anacardiaceae, popularmente conhecida pelas sementes de pimenta-rosa que doa para a humanidade. Estes grãos são uma pimentinha muito suave, que já degustei em sorvetes, drinks e até como tempero de peixe. Seus cachos de semente são exuberantes. Ela é uma árvore nativa da América do Sul.
Ao seu lado estavam duas Patas de Vaca (Bauhinia forficata, nativa da Mata Atlântica), cujas flores são lindas (lembram orquídeas) e comestíveis. Me chamou a atenção um borboleta cinza e marrom que as polinizava e, ao fundo, uma abelha Mamangava, daquelas bem peludas e gordinhas, que eu acho a coisa mais fofa do mundo e jurava serem brasileiras e sem ferrão, mas descobri que são européias e tem ferrão sim. Essa foi por pouco!
Ao fundo desta árvore havia um homem dormindo na grama, debaixo da sombra de outra árvore. O Brasil é um país pobre e desigual e o número de moradores de rua cresce rapidamente. Toda vez que venho ao Parque da Juventude observo que muita gente "mora" ali durante o dia: dorme, lava suas roupas (talvez no banheiro) e as estende no gramado, namora, anda em bandos que às vezes estão cantando (da última vez cantavam Cazuza).
Fico feliz que encontram um abrigo de beleza e silêncio para descansarem aqui, no meio da natureza. Todos nós precisamos dela, pois somos natureza.
