How can you work as a team without solid friendship and trust, right? How can you invite other people to a certain community when you do not embody what community means?
In the four months since HCBC was established, the bloggers have created a bond of trust, respect, and love, and this is what they hope people can be drawn in when they decide to join Hive, and what they wish they can also experience. As Hive is all about the community, it is important to take care of the people and nurture them with loving support.
As HCBC is getting bigger and stronger with more than thirty diverse yet equally multi-talented and passionate members, we have made this page in order to bring you highlights of the team's efforts in doing consistent Hive meet-ups, coffee date gatherings, birthday celebrations, and fun activities such as the recently concluded successful Hivelloween 2021 and the upcoming Christmas Party. In line with this, any rewards on our Page will be conscientiously used as funds for our future gatherings, events, and activities. As our team is making these, slowly, we hope for business collaborations and support from other local businesses as we introduce Hive. We also aim to motivate our members by hosting gatherings and bigger events as we help each other grow and succeed. With @purepinay's commitment to help fund a lot of activities like Hive meet-ups especially for the new onboarded members and sharing her current resources. Lastly, our goal is to inspire other communities or groups to initiate some Hive meet-ups or get together as this helps build strong bonds.
We would like to express our gratitude to @theycallmedan for supporting these initiatives and for believing in our abilities and potential.

There are only a few Hungarian members (I am one of them), but it would be good to have some kind of Hive meetup in Hungary.

It is not easy to get active members. In 2018 I invited my brother (@atis94) and his friend (@pintercsaba) to use the Steem blockchain. Both of them registered and started using it, but they quickly gave up and left a few months later because of the lack of visibility and the lack of the help and the support of the community. The main problem is that they do not understand English. They posted only in Hungarian. My brother wrote only one comment under a post of his above mentioned friend, who also quickly left the platform. And many other people did the same over the years. Nowadays I have 1500 followers, but most of them are inactive nowadays. They left the platform years ago.
I totally understand this. It is does takes time to get some support from the community but I've also seen some others Hivers who's been here and consistent with their post even with few rewards and some there are newbies doing well on their own, I guess it really depends on your strategy also, and how well you engage in the whole community. Hive still has very small users compared to web2.0 which means there still potential for growth.
Btw, where you able to join the Hivefest?
Only as a viewer. Two days ago I watched the first one and the half hour of the livestream on Twitter on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12) on a mobile internet connection (3G). Nowadays I do not have a PC, nor a laptop, and I cannot afford them either, and this is why I could not join this HiveFest as an active participant. Maybe another one in the future.
Wow, this really struck that a lot of Filipinos I know still have the privilege of living a better life, even some the people in the province and I hope that everyone gets to see this and realize how fortunate with the things that they have right now. And I really do believe that when you believe in something that you do and you keep moving forward, you can achieve your dreams.

This is true. When the situation becomes hard and difficult, most people simply run away. This is also true in real life.
I agree with you both, although we also sometimes forget as to how do we measure these things. There are things that are important to us but are not important to others and I think this is where priority comes and how they see the value of a thing.
The way I see it, if someone doesn't fully understand and see the real value of a thing, they won't put effort or invest their time into it but with our help or our patience in helping them understand the different opportunities of this platform, not just the earning side but like our group we value the relationship that we are building.

I think your right in a lot of ways... People do, for the most part, need to grow a spine when it comes to sticking things out... However! I am also of the opinion that certain social environments are more or less hospitable to new (and old) people within their circles.
I believe that the friendlier the Hive Blockchain becomes the easier and easier it will be for new people to want to stay and stick it out.
Obscurity, change, and just being new are major obstacles to retention... But I really believe that super friendly groups like this one are the key to making Hive Life worth Living!

Im gonna be forever grateful of being a part of this community.
