I struggle to put into words how great of an experience I had while in Split this year at Hive Fest. This is my attempt at sharing my travels. As soon as I finished getting settled into my room, I went on a little solo adventure. My first stop was the nearest beach from the apartment where I grabbed a burger and a beer.
I then travelled into the Old Town and started exploring all the little streets. It was so cool and kinda bizarre. What sometimes seemed like a never-ending labyrinth of tunnels and alleys. I wound up eavesdropping on some tour guides and got myself some fun photos.
Then I stumbled upon a cool little craft beer bar. At this point, little did I know that I'd be spending a lot of my week at this new watering hole.
After a few drinks, I stopped by a local smoke shop and picked up a joint of Industrial Hemp. Not the ideal smoke, but sometimes it's fun to just go through the process. I went back to the apartment and crashed out for the night, ready to meet the rest of the group for drinks the following day.
Stay tuned for some more pictures and stories.

Hey, I didn't know there was a smooth face version of you too hahaha. Good photos. Most of mine were taken while trying to keep up with people, so some are not that great. Did you miss the opening drinks? Since you mention you were getting ready for day one of the conference? Anyway, it was nice to see you again, and connect a little more than in Rosarito. And share some time at the same watering hole as well!
You are right to question my chronology, because I was mistaken. This was two days before the first day of talks and the day before we got together for drinks at Paradiso.
That's my eagle eyes for ya hahaha. :)
I had a great time out there, it was nice to get to know you a bit more and to be able to connect with someone over the absurdities of Las Vegas. Looks like your suggestion of a cruise is picking up more and more momentum. I'm all for it!
Yeah, it's also great to hear what's changed in Vegas and what has stayed the same (and might never change). I'll have to visit again one day and do the whole tourist thing. Maybe if I get a chance to bring my son to the Sick New World festival, that would be awesome (and expensive, hah!).
Yes, my cruise suggestion is picking up, although it was really meant to be a joke. I guess you never know what people take and run with. But I agree with some that it would be harder in ways, since people would have to be there from the beginning till the end. I also liked the idea of Colombia to be honest. But it doesn't really matter where it is, as long as the people show up, it's just perfect.
