I have been slacking on the Hivefest9 front a bit, because there were other things happening (and because I'm not good at focusing on just one thing...) but I definitely wasn't done yet. I still have quite a few photos to share, and unlike other Hivefest years, I actually want to share them all instead of slacking off half way and having you miss all those beautiful moments, haha.

So let's get to it now.
Good bye to some of the Hiveans in Split, Croatia
The closing drinks were held at the Antique Bar in Split. It was mostly outdoors, which was fine because it wasn't cold, luckily. Because other nights were quite chilly to be honest. For me at least.
We were served drinks and some sushi, which was really nice.
I hadn't had a Stella in years! So this was a nice surprise haha.
This drink was coffee with some alcohol. Not sure what it was anymore but it was nice...
Some vegan sushi. I had some of it, and it was lovely.
And some non-vegan dishes. As you can see, it went fast. But the shrimp were really nice.
Excuse the image quality. It was getting a little colder and to combat this, I had a few rum & cokes hehe. Image quality does NOT improve!
Weirdly enough, I didn't take any photos of people this night, which is unlike me. But I just didn't think of it, and I guess it was nice to just be in the moment.
Many Hiveans said good bye that evening, so it was a bittersweet moment for many of us.
I even missed a few, but maybe better that way. I did receive the best hug on Hivefest that year from @gtg when he said good bye. Under all that Gandalf the Grey Wizard thing, there's a really amazing and genuine guy. He was really happy when I made it, last minute, and there's just nothing fake about him. I miss you already! See you next year!
Luckily, lots of us were still there the next day for the trip we'd all been waiting for hehe.
The Boat Trip
I actually took quite a few photos and also videos of that day, so I won't be cramming them all in this post. These are the images from our boat trip on the way to the little island where we stopped for a quick dip in the water and a walk around.
The weather was a bit on the cool side, but it didn't matter much.

Arrived! Now time for a swim!
I will post a few more photos of that day in another post, because I don't want to do a big photo bomb here now. All in all it was a lovely day, even though I only had 2 hours of sleep haha.
It was worth it. There were still quite a few of us here, so it was nice to spend this last day with them. Or almost. I wasn't leaving till two days later, so I still had one day in Split.
One week was too short though, I will definitely come back here one day. I hope you enjoyed my very bad photography and explanation about this day.
