in a big country, dreams stay with you, like a lovers boy on a mountain side, stay after night, or at least into the night with metaverses and hivefest!

my favorite picture from the hivefest weekend, both myself and dayleeo made a point of getting lost in the metaverse that is altvr. it's a bit clunky and really could do with more interactive things but it's still cool. we played a card game in there and it was so fun it was like being in a room with other people who you'd never probably talk to based on the content they put out.

some of the "worlds" are amazing however, i'm not sure what they are using for an engine and while it does not feel like much has changed with the spaces in a year i do feel the "backend" (is it unity or something, unreal from epic maybe?) has had an update -- i still don't know what microsoft wants to do with this but i'd love to learn some of the tools and scripting and build my own spaces.

i think i'd love to build in some cushioning in life before i attempted that thou, digging myself out of the worker mentality. i've certainly been very lucky on that score in the last few years because of the pandemic and learning to stake on myself and just live low income, low power, battery saving mode survival while other areas of my life stack and compound.

You just gotta get out there and find your tribe. My tribe is not here, it's now in decentralized video, but it is on one of the multitude of multiverses existing withing the 10,000+ cryptos that now exists. You can litearlly just get a decent wallet and some credits and start exploring. Even my splinterlands investment of like $50-100 some three or four years ago has shown some fruit and paid of my laptop allowing me to continue blogging -- incredible!

the game then is to let that brightness and sunshine energy excude from you, like a searing heat that comes with it's own low frequency hum as the radiation levels flow over you. you have to be the bright version of yourself, the one that fosters better in the light, no more darkness and storage cupboard versions of you, you aint a condiment, your a seasoning, sprinkly accordingly! :)

We took this really mellow boat ride as well in altvr space, all introduced to us by other worlds from the lobby in the "game" although both myself and @dayleeo were hitting the space bar and strafing a lot -- i wish there was more multiplayer gaming on the chain, that's something i could get into, i'd have loved to have been able to bet on the holo card game for instance -- maybe a prize could have been a punk X amount of rounds or gaming score total.

Certainly stream worthy!

super impressed too of how well the m1 air performed, even at 8x graphics filtering, it was spitting out some really acceptable frame rates and made the selfie photos extra crispy. an enjoyable time all around -- i had to rock the beard and the purple skirt, i needed my legs to be loose to the elements so i could speed run around the map with ease and no restrictions!

I'm not sure why but i did'nt tell my partner about the badge signup, it was free too, but for some reason i did'nt think she would be that interested in checking out VR spaces -- i guess the moral of the story is don't expect someone to be a certain way and into certain things, sometimes just doing something together is fun regardless. Next time i'm just gonna drop her an early message about it.

The intergration on the badge was neat, you had four options of sharing beer tokens and checking out the stats on the blockchain user, it felt super interactive and i really like that part of frequenting these spaces. I do feel like VR needs more designers and scripters thou, i think blockchains with sub second response times are going to win that play -- things like solana for instance, hive is fast at 3 seconds but solana is sub 1 second (around 400ms i believe) so it makes a different when your in the moment in an experience.

scream if you wanna faster kinda thing

i'd have loved to have aquired the headset this year for it but i do feel i might get lost in the rabbit hole that is that new "place" to be, i could see myself spending too many hours in an alternate reality instead of keeping stacking in this one.

that being said i do feel like some of the vr and metaverse coins and cryptos will be big this year. ones that allow you to earn an income from your staked land or items that you sell there, i've seen some amazing installations where people are 24/7 around the clock selling NFT's in the virtual world while their meatsack of a life sleeps waking up just to click on a smart contract and collect their earnings from the night shop that works for you and never complains.

we live in constantly amazing, evolving times, every day feels like a golden era, time has no meaning, it's all about long tail survival and levelling up those "third spaces" to be -- between work and home, the coffeeshop, the incubator, the virtual online spaces where you can drop in anytime on your tribe and get a status update.

It's freaking sweet man.

p.s -- i really need to work on my headers and footers and general presence here. also, follow me on https://inji.com/@teamhumble if you want more short form microposts (aka like tumblr) because i'm really loving the experience there. less about "money making" and less power tripping fuckboys to try and ruin the experience with their desperate downvoting tactics.

stay frosty!
remember a 50 cal. .

peace out

(will 2022 be the year of some gaming pc streams?!)
