"What Does Hive Mean To Me?"

This is my response to @theycallmedan initiative "What Does Hive Mean To Me?"

I feel like everything around me is evolving, we are in the phase of drastic changes in all areas and all of it is going to be for good. Just some days ago it was all about Steem and now it is Hive. So when I want to answer what does Hive mean to me? then it is just all the same what Steem meant to me some days ago but sadly it failed. So will Hive meet those expectations? I do not want to contemplate on that, but I am just being positive just the way I was for Steem. A lot of people including me joined Steem with a lot of hopes and expectations, now we have transitioned to Hive with the same hopes and expectations and now the only hope is that we will not be disappointed and all that we could not achieve with Steem will be achieved with hive.

So what does the new Hive mean to me?

Since the time Hive has launched I am seeing a lot of positive energy on the platform, lot of old steemians who had quit blogging for whatever reasons are now to be seen again and I am happy to see that.

Rather then "What Does Hive Mean To Me?" I will put across as what are my expectations from the new Hive.

- A Responsible Leadership team I am hoping that people on Hive who are having responsible positions on Hive will act only in the best interest of the platform and not in their best interest. There will be transparency from people in positions. We look upto them and I am sure they will not fail us again.

- A Thriving community This was always our vision for Steem, so undoubtedly I would want to see Hive growing in number of users, more and more people joining Hive, coming together and working together for the growth of Steem. Hive to me means a prosperous community, where everyone is participating in high spirits.

- Decentralization in it's true sense The major reason for the formation of this whole new platform, so if this is not achieved here then we once again fail. But then I am sure that we will not see that day again ever in Hive and it's going to achieve the objective for what it is created.

- Growing Communities Strong communities means a robust Hive. Communities are going to be the future so if we are able to have consistently growing communities it only means that Hive is also growing.

- Stable and consistent growth of the Hive coin price If all of the above are achieved then this by itself gets fulfilled. If we work with zeal and rigor and grow on Hive then the price of Hive coin is also going to thrive and give us good returns. Everyone here expects good returns for their efforts besides a clean networking and the true sense of the liberty of decentralization.

So let us all come together and in true spirit work on the growth of Hive. A growth like never before and beyond all expectations.💖🤩🏆
