Hello Hivians, trust you all doing great? Hope you all achieved your goals today? I guess you'll be wondering how I spent mine right? Wow, today has been quite busy with different tasks, mostly web3 airdrop tasks.
Although Pi KYC is giving me serious issues as I'm yet to be verified by the team.
Yesterday, I started a content on my journey toward being a copper and how I was posted to Enugu.
Oh, I didn't tell you guys what happened on the registration day.
Registration Day
Before you can go for service, you have to pass through the process of registration.
Mind you that stage is never easy for anyone. Just sit back while I take you through my registration journey.
On that fateful day, at 7:30 am, I left my house immediately after calling my friend who also wants to do the registration with me. I boarded a bus from the park down to the registration centre.
Oh I thought I was early until I got there to meet other graduates who were also ready to serve our motherland.
On seeing them, I became happy because I know I'm not alone. Waited for it to get to my turn while filling the form they gave to me. The registration was going smoothly not until the portal started hanging due to traffic from other users.
I became afraid because the last time I wanted to register for the program, I was still at home when the portal was shut down due to traffic. You know what? It never came up again.
See me looking frustrated just because I want to serve my motherland. In Nigeria, you must be fast at everything you do because you never can tell what will happen the next minute. Reasons why I woke up very early that day.
After much trial, it started working again and I became very happy like my friend also. We were both asked to summit our email address and we did. An OTP was sent to the address but I didn't get mine although my friend saw his own. This got me worried again.
What could have been the issue? Why is it doing this now? Why am I not getting the OTP? So many Why? Why? Why?.
Okay at this junction, I was advised to try another email address, which I did. Luckily for me, the OTP was sent to my mail.
You won't understand how joyous I was at that moment when my phone beep. Gave him the OTP and we proceeded with the registration process.
My friend had to thumbprint before me because his OTP came earlier than mine. After much delay, I got registered.
Went back home happy while patiently waiting for my NYSC call up number.
After some days, I checked my dashboard and saw the NYSC call up number. Immediately the call up number came out, it was looking too sure I would join the next batch.
As a graduate going for NYSC registration, you must be ready for anything. Be open minded because sometimes, you won't be able to register on that first day.
Do you still have hope of doing it the next day?
Oh, yeah but it all depends on the total number of persons that registered on the first day.
If the number of persons that registered on the first is more, then the chances of NYSC shutting down their portal is very high.
You just have to be prayerful so they don't shock you with their decisions.
All you needed to know before going for NYSC registration
Registration required proper preparation. You need to prepare yourself very well before the NYSC announces the date for registration.
