Walking downward the rough road has always been a challenge for him. However, he got used to it. Then suddenly, a rushing lady overtook him. She is old and already has a hunchback. Then a man on the side street called the old lady and asked, “Nay paninda mo ulit.” The old lady replied.,“ Oo ‘nak.
He heard the plea of the old lady. But the man who she is selling the bananas also has no money. Slowly, he joined the group and asked how much the bananas are.
Hesitatingly, he gets all of the bananas for P60 and paid a P100 pesos bill. “Sa inyo na po yung sukli and he turned his back and walk away. But the old lady shout in a shaking voice, “ Nak salamat may pambili na kami ng bigas at ulam.” He smiled back and continued walking.
The rough road was so hard to pass. But it is harder to walk without a handkerchief under the blazing heat. I know, because I can’t wipe my tears that fall after that encounter
