Its been more than 4 months when John Paul Dolor left us. He is a beautiful soul gone too soon,also known as @johnpd in the blogging community.
These past days, I was encouraged by a few friends to go back to writing. I tried and I saw familiar faces coming back as well. We all miss writing but due to busy schedules and priorities, we all lost the zeal.
As I saw my feeds and discord channel be filled with jolly people I knew, one thing came to my mind. John Paul will be terribly happy if he is here. As per him, he died when @tagalogtrail became inactive. It was his first death.
Can he be alive again, if @tagalogtrail will be active once more? I wish it may. I wish it will be that way. I wish it will be that easy. But no! John Paul will never be back even if we all come back into blogging.
He is the ultimate joker. The great uniter. There was never a dull moment when he is around in the discord. In fact, we are all waiting for his presence, though we never stated it. We are all happy and lively when he is around.
How I miss his writings-- stories that are a parcel of real life yet creatively delivered in a way that will prick your heart and tickle your mind. Those unexpected twists and wordings, will pull you out of your seat. Most of all his style will urge you to write your best story as well.
Dr. Johnpd, as we in @tagalogtrail fondly calls him, is our idol ( olodi in tagalog slang). He is kind of person who treasures friendship more than you think. He is a gentle giant -- so tall but with a caring heart. He is a polite person and very accommodating. He can make sacrifices for a friend despite his health condition. Yes, he was sick.
For a couple of year John Paul was battling with diabetes. You can notice his agony but he always keep it with the cutest grin. He is worried about his medicines and family, but he will not talk about it. Though in pain, he is always at service how any kind he can offer. Most of all, he will make you smile and will always be a good listener.
Japs, as I call him, was good friend. How many times he helped me in different ways ensuring I am in comfortable situation always. I can never find a gentle giant like him.
Japs, I believe if you are here, things would be doubly merry. No one can replace you. You're such a great fighter. As to where you are now, be at peace. We will be fine. Thank you for your legacy. Thank you for the memories. We may never hear your striking pick up lines... we may never see your unique joke... we may never meet again... but in our mind your alive.
You will always be missed.Sleep tight our dear Olodi. Sleep well buddy. Sleep in peace Dr. @Johnpd

Siya rin naalala ko nung bumalik ako e, nakakalungkot isipin na di na rin siya makakabalik dito. Pero sana at peace na siya sa langit ngayon.

Kuya RG naman e... Got me teary eyed. I miss him too, we all are. I bet if he's alive, he's the first one to get really excited and happy knowing we came back into writing.

As one of the members in tagalogtrail and in tagalogserye. I won't forget him as a good person and good writer. He might not come back to life but he won't fade into my memory. Maybe we should do the tagalogserye again guys. Don't you agree guys?

Nakakamiss yung bigla na lang may magmemessage ng mga kabulastugan. Hayy. He was gone too soon. But he surely will never be forgotten.
