A Glimpse of a Dreamer: A Day in School

Hello, Hivers!

Do you agree that school is the way to achieve your goals? Well, in my case, I agree! School is a place where we can make the impossible possible. We go there not just for fun but to learn life-long learnings. What's fun about being a student is that there are times that we keep on complaining that it is tiring and draining. Bombarded with the lessons and activities given to us but the thing is that we are trying our best to comply with the tasks. Isn't it funny? Complain but scared of due dates. But I'm telling you, it is just a sign that students are afraid not to get the dreams of their lives.

The purpose of our presence here is to get those dreams and turn them into reality. We are just human, and getting tired is a normal emotion to feel. If tired, don't hesitate to rest. At times, we need to stop to have a fresh restart and that's the beauty of life. Just as students, if we are tired, we rest then after the quick rest, we continue doing our assignments and activities.
Here are some of the highlights of my day as a student.

This is my beloved school. My very own Saint Louise de Marillac College of Bogo Inc. And is located in the northern part of Cebu, Philippines. As you have read by its name, yes it is a catholic school and is managed by the Daughters of Charity (DC) sisters. What's good about this institution is that it produces students who are competitive in academics, sports-friendly, Christ-centered, and are developed holistically.

This is what our classroom looks like. It is just a simple room with some learning facilities in it like the chalkboard, whiteboard, PC, and Smart TV. Here, we learn something new every day, create our experiments, do our assignments, demonstrations, and all other school-related stuff. This is just a room but I am the living proof that this is filled with countless memories of us together with my co-learners. Good or Bad, we shared it here inside the Classroom. Together we laugh, we speak out, and most importantly we share our different insights about the topics and it allows us to learn more from each other.

Some glimpse of what I/ we did inside the room.

In our first subject, my classmate had a demonstration. We are taking Bachelor of Secondary Education and it is a must to practice ourselves in demo teaching so that in our field study, we are prepared and ready. I know that this career is not easy but because I am dreaming to teach and help the next generation, I will let the fire burn.

In our second subject, we answered a short quiz based form our topic last meeting. I am not sure about my answers but I strongly believe in myself. 😁

In our third subject for today, we were taught about the International Phonetic Symbol (IPA). This is discussed in our major subject. It was difficult on our part but the instructor gave us some handouts, letting us transcribe some words, and later on, it allowed us to understand how it goes. There, I saw the beauty of transcribing words and I can say that it is really fun and interesting.

I also want to share you guys some of my circle of friends here at our school. During our free time, we always do some random stuff that can ease the stress after a tiring day. It can be countless selfies, take some TikTok dances, or just share how our day went. It is so overwhelming knowing that you have them not as classmates but as someone whom you can rely on for your problems. You can look for some emotional support from them especially in times of challenging activities at school, learn new hobbies, and of course, essential life learnings from each other's experiences. I love the sense that I can forget my heavy feelings when I'm with them. And that's the importance of having friends; they listen to your rants.

During lunchtime, we always go to our favorite eatery. They offer rice, soups, and some other Filipino foods that are budget-friendly but of course with quantity. We mostly come here with an empty stomach but after eating, we are all having a full and happy tummy.

After those errands, I use some of my free time reading books in the library. I browse some books there for at least two hours to scan for the next topic. Sometimes I look for a story and read it until I want. There, I learned some lessons that I can use in real-life situations.

While waiting for my 6 p.m. class, I decided to roam around in Pantaland near our school. I witnessed the beautiful sunset. There, I realized that sunsets are proof that I did my job for today and there is always time to take some rest to start again for the other day. I tapped my shoulder saying, "Despite this tiring day, be aware that you did something good" Well, there are times that we need to inspire and compliment ourselves. That is a good thing to practice people.

Indeed going to school matters. It will shape you into who you are and will bring you to a brighter future. I realized that going to school may be draining, but the price of labor waiting in the future is uncountable.

To my fellow students here in Hive, I am now a third-year college student and I must say that going and learning in school is not an easy thing. I have so many dreams in life that's why I am still holding on and standing firm despite those obstacles in my life as a student. I experienced going to school lack of sleep and no energy at all, but I am proud of myself because I'm still here writing and inspiring others. We may feel sad or ignored of what we are doing but believe me, God is writing our future so let us keep breathing and wait for our turn. To my fellow readers here in Hive, the time will come and I will surely share with you of myself wearing a toga stating that I made it. In God's name.

To those silent readers here in HVE who didn't get any chance to go to school, my humblest appreciation to you guys. Everyone has a different situation and you are brave enough to get success on your own way. Success is not all about the money and that's what I believe. You guys are successful because you are doing your very best to continue fighting the cruelty of life. My respect and love is in you. You deserve a golden crown.

That would be all my fellow HIVERS. I am hoping that you are all in a good state. Praying for your safety guys. THANK YOU

Yeah, you're right. The main reason why students need to go to school is to make their dreams come true.

I am a dreamer and I want to make it possible.By God's guidance. 🥰

Your big smile and inspiring words notifies the reader very well that you are acquainting goodness throughout your academic time. Having such energetic activities(tests and class workouts including the gossips and fun time 😂 I know no one gets fatigued of this )

The hectic routine because of attending all the classes with active mind drains us all but still I am impressed by your effort 😁 by the way I can't answer any of quiz 😂 miss my golden time spent in school. I can see a brilliant teacher in you(the message you pinned through your writing 💙 more powers to you.
