"Grateful for God's endless blessings, big and small, every single day"😇😌
Finally, it's the weekend! Almost everyone is looking forward to it, including me, because it's my day off. After a long week of straight duties from night until morning, the weekend is the only time I can get a full night's sleep (if I don’t have anything else to do) coz most of the time, though, I end up doing laundry, cleaning the house, and other things.🥴🥴
I actually need to buy a new charger for my laptop because the one I'm using suddenly stopped working last week. I think the issue is with the charger. For several days before it completely died, I noticed that I had to adjust the position of the charger to get it to charge. Then, in the middle of our training, it suddenly stopped charging. I was panicking! OMG! I was in training, and it was really important because our trainer usually lets us present an example of a concern or task individually. We need to share our screens to make sure we understand the topic. What should I do now? I informed my trainer, and luckily, he was very understanding. He said he would continue the discussion and that I could use my phone temporarily.
Then, I chatted with my friend to see if she had a spare laptop. Luckily, she did, but the touchpad wasn't working, which was fine because I have a spare mouse. I asked my husband to pick it up from her since I was still in training. I've been using her laptop for a week now, and now I need to buy a new charger so I can return her laptop.😁
After I quickly cleaned the house, my son and I went to Robinsons. We stopped by Greenwich because he asked me to get pizza. We ordered lasagna and pizza. One of my son's favorites is pepperoni pizza, and I love watching him enjoy eating it.We then went to National Bookstore to buy an illustration board and cartolina for his school project. He has a lot of performance tasks that we need to complete, and it's his 2nd grading next week, I also need to help him study. I really need to manage my time well between work and family, but anyway, I'm really good at multitasking.😉
We then went to buy the charger. I was thinking it would only cost me 400 pesos, but it was 1800 at Octagon. I thought it was because Octagon is well-known and tends to have high prices. I tried going to another store that sells computers and parts, and it was also 1800, lol! Luckily, the salesboy offered me a 300 pesos discount. 😁
Just sharing this picture of Robinsons' Christmas tree, lol! I know I took it too far—I was on the 2nd floor and too lazy to go down to take a better photo. It just reminded me of 2020 when I also took a picture of my son in front of Robinsons' Christmas tree. Time flies so fast, and he's really not a baby anymore 😢. If I could just hold onto the days so he would stay my little baby... I remember when I used to Google how to become a vampire 🤣, thinking that if I were one, I will make my family a vampire as well, so we could stop aging and stay in our twenties (based on what I always watched and read). Lol! Or Anyone know how to make a potion to stay young? Lol!🤣
Before we went home, I bought coffee and a chocolate shake for my son. It's really one of my favorite things to do whenever I go to Robinsons. I always buy coffee or milk tea at Zagu because I really like how they make their coffee. We also bought Kettle Korn as per my son's request. 😆
Just sharing as well, I used to hallucinate seeing spiders after waking up. That was many months ago. I remember the first time I saw spiders—it was when I had just woken up. I looked at the wall and saw a huge black spider near our bed. I was like, "OMG! Big spiders are really what I hate, not because I fear them, but because I just really don’t like them." Then when I looked at the wall again, it was gone. I didn’t care at the time because I thought it must have crawled away and hidden.
A few weeks later, I saw spiders again after waking up, like twice or thrice - and then gone after few seconds. I didn’t really mind since I thought it was just because I didn’t like them, or maybe I thought they crawled too fast. But one time, my husband woke me up an hour before my shift, and when I opened my eyes, my gaze went straight to the wall behind him because I saw a big spider again. I shouted, "Spider! Spider!" and he looked at the wall and laughed because there was none, thinking I was still dreaming.
After that, I got curious and Googled the cause, and I found out that it’s not normal. It’s called hypnopompic hallucinations—seeing non-existing spiders. It’s a kind of sleep disorder, or it can be caused by stress, anxiety, or sleep deprivation. It’s not harmful but can be disturbing.🥵 Thankfully, that was months ago, and I haven’t experienced hypnopompic hallucinations anymore.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Have a great day, and may God grant the desires of your heart.😇
I also did that kind of time management before. When I went back to studies during the day and worked the night shift. I just lasted like 6 months after finishing the sem. I again quit studying😌😁. But I didn't experience seeing a spider every time I woke up.😌
Yes, I remember, and every time I went back to our boarding house, I had to make sure not to make any noise 🤣. But I think I used to see spiders, because I was almost going crazy 🤣
Better prioritize your health.😬.
🤣
Axel has grown much since the last time I saw him. Finally, he gained weight 😀.
I was used of seeing him skinny 😆.
Ah, I am not sure if I could work like yours. My brain isn't working well when I lack of sleep. My comprehension if affected 🤣
He eats a lot of rice now; he can even eat six slices of pizza 😂
What a big spider! And yes, thankfully you're not experiencing the hypnopompic hallucinations anymore.. I just can't imagine how fearful you must have been.
Laptop chargers are that expensive now?! OMG
You're surrounded by good people - the trainer and your friend. You must be very kind to them that now that you're in trouble they're helping you. 😊
