First Typhoon in the Philippines for 2020/Personal Blog
Today, no sunshine appears and after several months of experiencing hot weather a typhoon came. Summer season here in the Philippines wasn't over so the rain was badly needed not just for the farmers, the water dams and also for us to escape for the meantime the humidity. Based on news Typhoon Ambo did a 7 times landfall for different provinces and many places including here in Bulacan was under the Signal no. 2. However, this typhoon got strong winds with heavy rainfall. I wasn't able to go outside since morning and the rain didn't stop. Just a quick trivia: Here in the Philippines, the Typhoon names which will enter officially our country was starting Alphabetically. Now that this is the first typhoon it started with letter "A".
I've took some photo in front and back of our house. Well, to be honest I'm a bit happy for the rain falls on my planted vegetables and rain was obviously needed as summer really affects the water level of dams here. I lived on place with nearby dams called "Angat Dam" the largest dam in the country. Perhaps for some part of the provinces that was the first place "Ambo" landed, as seen on the news that it has a strong wind with a heavy rain. We didn't expect this typhoon would be strong like this. I was a little bit nervous and wary everytime I heard the blows of the winds :( I hope that this will not affect more families and it would be more difficult for them as Covid-19 still at risk to some areas. Hoping to see the sun shines tomorrow morning...
