Baguio appears straightforward and uncomplicated on the map, but it is significantly more complicated in reality. However, consider the following: Burnham Park is located in the heart of the city. Numerous important points of interest are located nearby. The majority of important roads are directly connected to it in some way. Even jeepney terminals are conveniently located within the park.
Therefore, if this is your first visit and you want to see the city's major attractions, choose a location near Burnham Park. It is not necessary for it to be directly across the park. Even hotels located within a short walking distance will suffice. This will be the most convenient location for you.
However, if you're looking for some peace of mind and aren't here to sightsee, choose a hotel that is located away from Burnham Park and is a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle. After all, Baguio is still a legitimate urban center, complete with buildings, vehicles, and people.
DIRECTIONS TO BAGUIO FROM MANILA
Numerous bus operators serve the Manila-Baguio route. Buses depart from the following terminals:
Cubao Dagupan Genesis Transport Cubao Bus Lines
PARTAS: Joy Bus between Cubao and Pasay (Genesis): Pasay and Avenida Victory Liner: Cubao and Pasay Baguio are only 4-6 hours away from Manila, depending on which part of the city you're coming from, the route taken by the bus, and whether or not the bus makes a stop along the way. Regular buses usually make at least one stop at Dau Exit (NLEX) or Concepcion Exit (SCTEX).
When I travel to Baguio, I usually make reservations with Victory Liner. There is no particular reason for this. It's simply a matter of habit. Haha. As a result, I am intimately familiar with their fares.
The schedule is available at the following website:

VICTORY LINER & JOY BUS SCHEDULE.
You can take a cab to your hotel from the new Victory Liner terminal. If your hotel is in close proximity to Burnham Park, the fare should be approximately P70.
GETTING AROUND BAGUIO
One thing that tourists need to understand about Baguio is that attractions are clustered throughout the city. The issue is that these clusters are geographically dispersed. As a result, it is best to explore clusters. The two primary modes of transportation are as follows:
Jeepney. The less expensive mode of transportation. If your hotel is close to Burnham, a jeepney is easily accessible. Terminals are located directly outside the park. The lowest fare is P8.50.
Taxi. That is the more convenient method. It's also reasonably priced if you're traveling in a group. Taxis in Baguio are significantly less expensive than in Manila, and taxi drivers are well-known for being honest and providing exact change (unlike in Manila). There are, of course, bad drivers, but they are the exception rather than the rule. P35 is the flagdown rate.
Along these, you can travel by foot. I typically walk within the city limits. However, I must warn you that it can be quite exhausting. Visitors frequently overlook the fact that Baguio's terrain is mainly uneven, which is not immediately evident when using flat maps. However, once there, you'll notice that walking around Baguio entails sharp ascents. If you are unfamiliar with some shortcuts, you may find yourself walking long distances as well.
While Baguio is almost synonymous with strawberries, the most visited strawberry farm is located 30 minutes away in La Trinidad. Along with vegetables and flowers, you'll find strawberry plots here. Strawberry prices range between P250 and P300 per kilo here. Prepare to pay an additional P200 if you wish to pick the berries yourself.
Along the farm's perimeter is a pasalubong center comprised of several souvenir shops. If you're planning to eat, try the strawberry ice cream (which is absolutely delicious) and strawberry taho!
As is common practice in other parts of the Philippines, tipping is not required in Baguio. To show your appreciation, tip only if you genuinely enjoyed the service.
Baguio taxi drivers are also renowned for providing exact change, which is not always the case in Manila. However, if you wish to tip, simply round up the meter. For instance, if the ride costs P62 and you pay P70, you can instruct the driver to retain the change.
