I am presently working on some ideas for Hive Pope iconography. The old Steem Pope image isn't really suited to this platform, so I have started by making a banner inspired by the Vatican City flag. I used crossed keys as a symbol of cryptocurrency security, and I wanted the Hive logo to be prominent. Here is the progress so far.
Version 1
Version 2
The biggest problem with Version 1 is the white field behind the symbols. It would show up well against a blue sky, but most people browse the web with black text on a white background. I need something that looks good on a white screen. Version 2 with a gold key and a Hive LightGrey field is visibly different.
My graphical ability is limited to bad pixel art and cheesy web tools. I don't know GIMP or Photoshop. I thus challenge the digital artists of HIVE to improve on my work.

Make an emblem, coat of arms, flag, or some other suitable image I can use for formal Hive Pope posts, a profile picture, or even cover image. Just keep in mind the tips from the North American Vexillological Association and don't be a plagiarist.

I prefer version 1.
It is cleaner. I was also considering a white HIVE hexagon in the red field and just the crossed keys on the white field with a dark border around everything.
My latest efforts. I like the simplicity here, but this is still too plain.
