Creating quality content is the best way to earn HIVE which you can then power up to increase your Hive Power (resource credits).
Use HiveBlocks to check out your resource credits (I also find this handy to monitor activities)

Thanks for your brilliant advice, Kiwibloke! Are ya in New Zealand? Aww...so cool! And of course I'm Lord of the Rings biggest fan :) That's why I admire New Zealand including my favorite director, Peter Jackson so much!
You should be fine, you are already of to a good start, you have enough HP to be more interactive, which is what I enjoy doing as well. And yes I'm in little NZ.
