It would be amazing to get some statistics on how many and what punks different users have collected in one place, rather than having to look through each individual gallery. I hope Marky will come up with something, but great to see it pop up other stuff regarding these guys in the community as well!
Didn't know about @hivesql btw, that's very neat, will need to have a look into that myself at some point. :)
Yes, you can get pretty cool stas from that DB. I need to look into @hivesql maybe there is some data already reagrding the amount of punks per user - but it will probaby need some advance query implementation!
Maybe you can write a query that checks if the profile pic punk actually is owned by the user? Some are just screenshots (or jpg downloads, as they got the filename) of punk they don't own. Just good promo for that punk, I guess, but would be nice to see a list of punks both owned and used. :P
In this case, the URL of the picture indicates that the user is using an original punk - if it would be a screenshot they wouldn't officially appear in this list. The thing I am trying to find now is which ones are actually owned without being used as profile pic.
990 appears two times in the list while also being listed on the market by a different user (the one that sold for 5555 hive). You get the original jpg filename if you download the punk jpg, before uploading it as a profile pic, making the path look correct, I assume.
I am guessing as the original punk url is https://f002.backblazeb2.com/file/hivepunks/4468.png if you were to download the picture and upload it, your url would look like this
as the filename is just the punk number. I might be wrong as well.
I was also wondering about the 990 - which now is changed by the seller.
I know for a fact that neither of the two users listed above with 990 are owners of the punk, as they both are members of my Splinterlands guild. Discovered now that you still got the "set as Hive avatar" link/button available on all punks even if you don't own them, which makes the path look legit, I guess (but not on the block chain ofc). :P
Oh right gotcha now! Can't know about that as I don't own many to sell :D but thanks for the spot - I guess with a more complex query on the transactions could be a way to corroborate the ownership if the possibility of removing the "set as hive as an avatar button" even if you don't own it, is not an option.
