Honestly, being new to the community (steem and hive alike), I wasn't aware of the negative implications of a bot in general on either chain. It wasn't until I had written a bid bot, posted about it and got downvoted for it did I find out. So those whales that downvoted me could have perhaps just commented and I would of been one hundred percent on board with not using it and contributing to the dev community here. In turn I was forced to a new account ( @unknown0nline ) waiting for my little bit of HP to power down to transfer it. Such is life, I suppose I cannot expect others to have the same humility and understanding I do.
