My Hivewatchers blacklist: My apology to the Hive community

in #hivewatcherslast year

Once the AI era came around, I thought, oh yeah, here's something new, let's try it out and be a part of the revolution. It was mostly good intentions to learn how AI and generative writing worked. But I got head over heels and published some of them on Hive.

Sincerely, I did not know it was frowned upon by the community until I received a message from @hivewatchers and subsequently, I saw their posts about the topic the next day. I know I erred terribly. I was just trying new technology out and did not know it was frowned upon until I found Hive Watcher publications on the anti-support for AI-generated posts.

Once I did I understood it's wrong to try to milk the rewards with generative content without citing sources and referencing the AI, I reframed from doing it.

But since my account had been blacklisted, I showed commitment by showing up and doing my best with subsequent posts. I have been on my best behavior since I found Hive and the introductory AI era had me err and I regret my actions.

Firstly, I apologize for using AI for some of my posts in the past.

Secondly, I apologize for not going around sooner after I got the message to get it resolved. I wanted to prove myself by correcting my mistake with subsequent human-written content. Which I have been doing in the last six (6) months.

I have the best interest of the platform at heart and I quickly refrained from doing anything that is kicked against when I got notified of my post.

Since then I have been on my best behavior, and my account is the testimony. I sincerely apologize, I had not the faintest idea that Hive won't accept AI posts.
