Good day to you all here on hive Learners.
Today is another beautiful day on the earth's surface to make sure we are always having the best of times. It’s surely another weekend again and a choice for us to make either we are seeking happiness for ourselves or we are just trying to make sure we manage what life throws at us.
Yeah, we all have our childhood memories and I am sure it’s something we can’t forget. I remember when I had to reminisce about how we spent our childhood, I have forgotten most of the experience. Even the environment where we live before we changed our environment has faded from my memory not until I get to see the place again and if it remains the same. It must have been over a decade now.
Thank goodness we were able to get some captures then too. These captures are what made us remember special times in our lives.
But the saddest part of it is that pictures these days were not as good as the digital ones we have nowadays. Pictures then must be filmed before they get printed. Pictures would have to use days at the photographer's shop before we can get them. But nowadays we have the wait and get pictures. No doubt that’s just an advancement in technology.
To cut the story short. Most or all of our pictures then got damaged where we kept them. A single drop of water on them would make them wipe off. But all in all, I am still able to bring forth one of the oldest pictures 😂
This was a picture we took on our graduation day. I was about to get into elementary school then. It was a promotion from the nursery into the elementary classes. My younger sister is now a big girl. Every time she see it we would always laugh and laugh.
If she tries to prove some kind of big girl stuff in my presence ☺️. I would make it clear to her if she remembers when I am the one holding her hands to school then.
I am just this neat child. Not about now. I loved my cloth ironed with spiky gators on them. I got used to it.
I would always love my shoes to be shiny black and everything perfectly fit.
There was a day my sister told me “what would you do if you can’t get your cloth ironed before you wear them” then I said “ That’s one reason why dry cleaners came into existence” 😂.
I love my childhood days and one other memory I couldn’t forget was the day a thunder stroke and lightning ⚡️ penetrated through the window.
I was in the kitchen to get more food on my plate. Not until I saw the ray in conjunction with the loud noise. I ran as fast as I could throwing the plate and the food away.
I ran into the sitting room at full speed and was breathing heavily. Mum asked what happened. I said, “heaven sent down some angel into the kitchen”.
