Hey guys, this is Josh and today we're talking about the new Boosted Boards. Boosted Boards just revealed their new Boosted Board V2 and while this new board looks pretty much just like the old one, there's a bunch of great new stuff that went into this board.
While there's still the three different models of Boosted Board, the Single, the Dual, and the Dual Plus, each of these models now comes in two different ranges. There's the standard range which is like the old one I think, then there's also the extended range which costs $100 more but also gives you a lot more range on your Boosted Board.
On the Boosted Board Single for example, we used to have a range of six to seven miles, but with the extended version now it's twelve to fourteen, so it's really double the mileage that you got before. This is really great for power users and people that want to use their board for longer commutes.
The other great thing with the battery is that it's now also interchangeable so you can take your battery out and put a new one in for twice as much range, or however many batteries you can carry. This is also really great and makes maintenance a lot easier.
Another great thing that I really like about this new Boosted Board is that it's now water resistant. This means that you can drive it through the light rain or through a puddle here and there and you don't have to worry about breaking it. Be aware that it is water resistant and not waterproof, so if there's heavy rain or whatever, please leave your Boosted Board inside. Also riding a skateboard in general in really rainy conditions is dangerous, so you shouldn't do that anyways.
In addition to these main features that Boosted Board has added, they've also another great thing, which is a light in the front. You have a little headlight that will actually help you drive this board in the dark. You will be able to see more, you'll see what's in front of you, but also other people will be able to see you more easily which will make your driving experience safer overall.
In addition to all of these great features there are now, the one thing I'm really excited the most about is that Boosted Board now ships internationally. They now ship to a variety of countries and while it's still easiest to get it shipped in the US since you've got free shipping there, internationally you might have to pay taxes and you have to pay for the shipping on top. It's really great that they now ship internationally so thumbs up, Boosted Board.
The Boosted boards are pretty cool, but I prefer snowboarding rather than longboarding. I want a LEIF Tech board. Check it out: http://www.leiftech.com/
wow thats a really cool one indeed!
Forgot to mention I currently own a Yuneec Ego Board (cheaper alternative) and I regret not spending the extra few hundred bucks for a well engineered board.
we all did regret it.
