Hey guys, first of all: happy new year, I hope everyone had a great time with their family and friends and is ready to start a new journey (on continuing yours) this year!
In today's episode, I'm gonna you quick tips on to plan your goals and how to actually achieve them, let's go:
1. Write them down. Manually
I know my people don't like writing stuff by hand these days, that includes me, however, it's really important that if you have something you need to remember and keep track on you write it manually. It forces you to focus more on that particular activity you're doing, which enhances your memory.
2. Keep your feet on the ground
Another important thing is to have a goal which you see as achievable by your own effort. Don't count on luck or other people to reach your planned point, even if there's a possibility things end up better than you expected, commit to it.
3. Have a deadline
This one is important for some people and other not, I'm kinda in the middle of it. If you are one of those people that postpones everything, you gonna need a deadline. It's important because it will remind you of your compromise with your self and force you to keep working on it. It's all about the strategy.
4. Think of a way of expanding your goal
This one marries well with the number 2. Even thinking of something long-term, if you have a way of expanding your goal write it down too. This works because a year is A LOT of time so things might go better than expected! And even if they don't you still gonna have completed the other goal
