Good morning Holozingers!!
Last time, I wrote about my Alpha Vial purchase from my Holozing Intro Post Rewards - Alpha Vial Post
I have always enjoyed helping people so today, I want to do something a little different... my plan for the Rewards remain the same... but my writing will be more along the lines of "Here's how you can do this too!" style 😊
My Rewards will be set at 50% as Hive Power, which will stay Powered Up (Staked). This will improve my investment into Hive and keep my KE Ratio at/under 2.

The other 50% of my Hive Rewards will come in the form of Hive Backed Dollars or $HBD. These are "Liquid" and can be spent/traded/sent immediately!
Anyways... today... my post is about teaching YOU... so YOU can do the SAME THING... and earn along with me!!
We will grow together - that's what 2025 is all about!
In this post will assume that you are aware of what Holozing is... but if you are not... you can check out the account @holozing for more info and I will provide a link to the website later in the post :)
Ok... this should come as no surprise... but writing a post on Peak'd, Ecency, InLeo, etc, etc, etc can earn you Rewards!
But you can't just write anything and expect Whales to throw massive upvotes at you... you need to find something useful to write about... or nifty... or cool... or maybe just something your passionate about!
In this section, I am going to offer some tips to help YOU create content and earn some nice Rewards!
A. If you want to earn a decent Upvote or three... you need to invest some time making friends!
But remember... while you might not always write something and get a massive upvote... If you are networking on Hive and genuinely connecting with people... 100 Upvotes x $.01 is the same as 1 Upvote x $1.00!!
B. Find a COMMUNITY to post in, regularly. Hopping in to a Community, making a single post and then disappearing for 6 months is probably not going to get you much of a return...
However, once you find a Community with a topic you enjoy... start engaging with people there!
Follow content creators, Upvote, Reblog, Comment, etc!! These people are like you! They are enjoying the things you like! Start sharing the love and I bet you receive it in return!!
C. I shall try to limit each section to three tips each... this one is probably the most effective way to earn Post:Rewards in terms up Upvotes... so listen up rookie!
In a Community... there are often accounts who "Curate"... These are either "Whale" accounts or they are a "Delegation Account"... Wait... Pause...
Some definitions for the New People... I wish I would have had a Glossary of Terms when I first started... so let me be the help I didn't have...
Upvote: the act of clicking the "Like" button or whatever your Front End "Like" button is... Speaking of...
Front End: Hive is the Blockchain or "Network" that the Front Ends run on... Imagine if Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc all used the same system... Those are all "Front Ends". Peak'd, Ecency, InLeo, etc... those are the "Front Ends".
Curate: Curate is the same thing as "Upvote"... but it is typically done from an Account or Accounts that have a large amount of Hive Power. This Hive Power can be "owned" or "delegated"... Curation Rewards often follow a specific Community or #Hashtag...
Delegated Hive Power: If you have 1,000 Hive Power... each upvote you do, calculates your Hive Power against the "Total Hive Power" and assigns the equivalent Reward Amount.
Now... Imagine you could use your Hive Power like Voltron... BECAUSE YOU CAN!!!
Ready... here we go... If you have 1,000 Hive Power... you could Delegate (lend) some of it to another account... Let's say 500 Hive Power...
Your "Vote" will now calculate at 500 Hive Power instead of 1,000 and the account you delegate the Hive Power to... will be have their "Vote" calculated at 500 Hive Power (borrowed) now!
Imagine if 1,000 people delegated (lent) 500 Hive Power to one account... that's like "borrowing" 500,000 Hive Power!! Think of the Upvote size!! Well... that's EXACTLY what a "Curation Account" is!!!
They use "borrowed" Hive Power to provide Large Rewards for posts in a SPECIFIC Community or using a SPECIFIC Hashtag...
Ok friends, Topic #1 was pretty straightforward... you write a post... you get some Rewards!!
You write a really good post, in a community, with a specific topic... maybe you get some BIG Rewards!! Woohoo!!
But let's say you earned some Rewards already... or wanted to invest some of those Rewards in a cool upcoming game...
Well... you're in luck!! I am writing a post on just that topic!! I shared some of my Reward info in a previous post: Reinvesting in Holozing
But that's just selfish... so today I thought... why don't I teach other people and create a step-by-step guide they can follow too!
So here we go, Earning Method #2...How to Earn $ZING via Staking, Delegating and Collection Rewards... and how you can earn them too... get your notepad ready!!
Before we begin, I am going to assume you have your Hive Account setup, you've downloaded Hive Keychain and all that... if you haven't... maybe I'll cover that later but you can Google it for now and you'll find a TON of helpful pages!
So... you've got all your stuff setup but don't know what to do next...
First - open a new browser tab and visit www.tribaldex.com or www.hive-engine.com to visit one of those DEXs.
Log in via Keychain and go to your Wallet (Tribaldex is my example):
After you do this, you'll see your various balances on this page. If you don't have any balances here... you can click the "Deposit" button below the Green Box I put for the "Wallet" and "Profile Icon".
You can send Tribaldex a variety of tokens from your wallet or Coinbase or whatever :)
Once you receive the token, it will show up as SWAP.TOKEN - this is how your balance is reflected on the DEX (look at the top token in my photo "SWAP.HIVE")
All trades are done via SWAP.HIVE but you can also "Swap" tokens as well. After you receive your "Token", sell it for SWAP.HIVE and then you can buy any token you want!!
In this case, we are going to buy some #ZingToken today aka $ZING and then I'll show you how to stake it to earn even more $ZING for supporting the token!
This is the $Zing "Order Book". It shows the various Buy Orders and Sell Orders and the price in $HIVE not Dollars... don't forget that when calculating things!
In the circle, you can see what the Sellers are "Asking" for their Zing... that means if we want to buy some $ZING we have to pay that much... or we could set a bid on the left and hope someone is willing to let some go at our "Bid" price.
Here, I want to buy 10,000 ZING Tokens at .002687 Hive per Zing... which means 10,000 Zing would be 26.87 Hive... and all that is calculated for you, right above the buy button!!
If you have the Hive available and it will attempt to Buy 10,000 Zing at that price but I see just shy of 1,000 available for sale... so it might not get all 10,000 filled... but don't worry, you'll be the high bidder at that point and a Bot will probably fill your order shortly 😉
Let's assume your order fills and you end up with all the Zing tokens you wanted to buy... WOOHOO!!!! But what now...?
Now... we take a break from this post to visit the Holozing Website!! Now... I am going to use my referral link here, because hey - these Rewards add up!!
After you link your Hive account and sign up, you can click the "Rewards" Tab at the top of the screen!
If you notice, the Hive Keychain Extension and your Profile Pic are on the Holozing site... because it's all linked via your Wallet...
Unlike other games, the power of Web3 games lies in the fact that the assets belong to the Player... not the company issuing them!
But that's another topic... for another day! On to the Rewards Tab!
Box 1. "Green" - Claim Rewards! This shows me how much I have earned since I last claimed my Rewards. That was about Six Days ago, so in that time period I have earned:
297.419 ZING from my "Collection Rewards" - that's the Alpha Vial I bought!
10.941 ZING from "Staking Rewards" - that's from the 10k ZING I bought!
267.666 ZING from the "Delegation Rewards" that's the 500 Hive Power I delegated!
All total, in 6 days, I have earned about 576 Zing Tokens! That's roughly 1.47 Hive in Rewards!
Keep in mind... I bought my first 10k ZING Tokens with my own money... but I used the Post Rewards from my intro post to purchase the Alpha Vial! I've put in about 26 HIVE into this so far... and have earned 1.47 Hive in about 6 Days!! That's pretty darn good imo...
Box 2. "Indigo" - Collection Rewards, this box shows me how many Alpha Vials I own (1) and there is a "View" button that takes you to the "Achievement" Gallery.
Box 3. "Orange" - ZING Staking, this box shows me how much ZING I have. It shows my 10k Liquid and my 10.31k Staked! The APR on Staking is only 6.12% at the moment.
Box 4. "Yellow" - Hive Power (HP) Delegation, this area shows how much Hive Power I have available and how much I can delegate... as well as how much I currently delegate! At 7.81% APR... that's still not a huge yield... but pretty good returns so far!
Box 5. "Red...ish" - Liquidity Pool... We are going to talk about this in the next section... because I haven't participated in it yet... so... SEE YA THERE!!
Okay friends, if you've made it this far - awesome job! I have shared the methods that I have discovered and used to earn ZING... but there are TWO additional methods available!!
The first method was highlighted above: Liquidity Pool Returns!

Remember Tribaldex?? Yeah, we are headed back there! Go to www.tribaldex.com or hive-engine.com or whatever DEX you use... orrrrrrr take the easy route and click the "DETAILS" button next to the APR Box 😝
This is the "Swap" Tab on Tribaldex - you can add any pair to liquidity pools you find on here and there are some great rewards... just make sure you watch out for "Impermanent Loss" if one of the tokens in the pair decides to jump up in price!
In this case, we are going to click the "Add Liquidity" Button! See photo below for location :)
Now... I don't know what pool FARM:ZING is... but I am going to check it out... However, the pool I am interested in right now, is the top one... ZING:SWAP.HIVE
So I will click that one and it will bring us to the "Add Liquidity" menu:
When you're done, there will be a little green pop up on the top right of your screen to announce your success... but you can also go back to your Holozing Website Browser Tab and refresh your Rewards Page to ensure you got it done properly!
The final way that I know of to earn Holozing Rewards, in the form of ZING and/or Hive... is their Art Contest!! You can check out the Holozing Page to enter their contest but since I am absolutely RUBBISH at art... I'll leave that to those with proper talent in that area and stick to writing these posts... that I hope you find educational yet humorous 😁
