Hey guys! Today I want to tell you how to make these paper flowers that I am absolutely obsessed with. I made an entire bouquet for my boyfriend and then a couple more for my mom. They are super easy, they took me 20 minutes per flower once I got the hang of it. I used glue and pencils for the stems of the first flowers until I figured out how to make paper stems, but it got really tedious to glue all of them and wait for them to dry.

The first step is to cut your paper into rectangles, I was using construction paper and cut one piece into 8 rectangles for petals, and I cut the other piece into 4 long rectangles to use as stems.

Each flower uses 1 long rectangle and 6 short rectangles. Fold all of them in half by width, and then fold the corners in.

Next, fold each side in half by width again, it should look like this when you flatten it.

Once you fold all 7 rectangles like this, stack them inside of each other so that you have 3 stacks. One stack should have 2 short rectangles on the outside, with a long rectangle in the middle. The other 2 stacks should each have just 2 of the short rectangles.

Tie them all together in the middle with some string like this:

Start folding the petals up, one at a time, and be careful not to rip them. It looks weird at first but that's okay.

Fold the stem down instead of up, and then fold the sides of the stem in to make it thinner and more stiff.

Lastly, use a pencil to curl the edges of the petals to make them look more realistic.

That's it! I had a lot of fun doing this and I plan to make a lot more of them soon. Let me know what you guys think about this fun craft, I learned about it from someone else on social media and they were using book pages.
