Maybe there should be a separate type of site for charity, called like "dgive" or "dhelp" or "dfund" or something...? It feels a bit like these type of posts tend to "drown" a bit in memes and other posts... Or maybe I am wrong, still quite new here...

great idea @friendly-fenix... I see that you got a reply from @occupywallets and if you want to run it down for us and tell us how it works, that would be awesome. This is how it is supposed to work, people pitching in with ideas and getting things done for others! If you have the time to do this, let me know... If not, tell me that and I will find someone else. (I like to have the person with the idea take the lead if they are able and willing) ;)

There might be a "dev community" here who are looking for new ideas, Let's keep our "eyes peeled" and "pitch the idea" around. It would be really cool to have a "steembased" charity/crowdfunding platform preforming miracles around the globe. But I guess normal Steemit is going to have to do for now, it looks like this article is doing fairly well, that is good!

And I like your idea about keeping your eyes peeled. I need help and if you find people that are interested then I can help to connect them to others. I'm like a point guard in basketball, I like to assist others to make it happen! ;)

Ha ha, yeah it sounds good, I am not going to promise anything. But I am going to throw the idea around and maybe the "movers and shakers" of this platform will get interested, (I am still just a plankton you know).
