Do you like to treat yourself and your loved ones with salted fish? Fish cooked at home is always better than purchased. Today we will salt anchovy, but not just, but with spices. Anchovy is a small, but fatty fish with its own specific taste, of the anchovy family. The fish turns out incredibly fragrant and goes well with boiled potatoes. By including anchovy in your diet, you will saturate your body with important nutrients. It contains our beloved omega-3.
Ingredients:
Fresh-frozen anchovy - 300 grams; salt - 2 grams; bay leaf - 2 pieces; black pepper with peas - 5 pieces; unrefined sunflower oil - 2 tablespoons; onion - 1 head; spicy herbs for salting fish - 1 gram.
How to salt anchovy fish deliciously
To begin with, rinse the fish thoroughly under running cool water. Put it in a colander and let the excess liquid drain. Prepare a container for salting fish. A plastic one with a lid or an ordinary glass jar will do. Put a little salt and spices on the bottom. Lay out the anchovy. Again, sprinkle with salt and spices.
The second layer of fish and spices. Cover with a lid and shake the container several times, thereby mixing the fish with spices. Put the container with the fish in the refrigerator, on the bottom shelf. Leave for a day for salting.
The fish will give juice, take in as much salt as needed, and get enough spices.
Remove the sample at least a day later. If you are satisfied, simply transfer the anchovy to a plate and pour unrefined sunflower oil. Cut the onion into half rings and put it on the hamsa, this will add even more piquancy to the finished dish.
