It's also very interesting the potential that aquaculture (and by extension aquahpinics) have for migrating fish farming along the coast to inland areas, where it is isolating the farming units from wild units and thus eliminating many of the downsides of fish farming (spreading natural parasites, eutrophication, contamination etc etc). I saw a small documentary about some folks experimentin with that in Scotland, very interesting.
