Well, during the major meteorite event last night, my beloved chicken passed away. She was such a fighter. I am gonna miss little Chickon. She was a good bird.
RIP Chickon Chickonee (she went out in style-during a meteorite entering our atmosphere- how many chickens can say that).

I am sorry for your loss. We lost one, too, while on vacation. The housesitter was careless and her dog killed one of our 3 month old Jersey Giant pullets. I feel so helpless in the face of death of my animals, I love them with all my heart.
I am sorry to hear that you lost one too. My girl tried so hard to keep on going but her leg was just too damaged. She was a beautiful little creature and yes, it is so hard to lose things that we love. Chicken, dog, cat, humans. They all take a piece of our hearts.

thank you. I just buried her and placed a little rock on the grave. She was a real source of happiness in her short life.
