The bottles are very cool on the shelves made by your grandparents. We used to go bottle hunting around here, because so many people in days gone by would just throw their bottles into a heap in the back yard. It was a fun way to wander through the woods.
I do love digging through those heaps. What I don't enjoy are the ant nests you find in them!!!
I like what you did here!! And the pictures you took!! You are so creative sometimes, still waiting to see what you re going to come up with for all of your prints from shutterfly!!
I really like the blue ones, I wonder if you can find cork sizes that fit them all? Sorry I haven't been on to keep up with you, I'm going to try harder!! Glad you found a beautiful way to display your collection. Lots of hard work went into that!! It shows!
Thank you so much, @tiredmama! I hope you are feeling better and things have calmed down since the big sale. I love you!!!
Cool shelves made with love. Love the bottle collection. How long have you been collecting?
They really are made with love. I've been collecting about 5 years now. I have a few favorite old "trash piles" I enjoy digging through...carefully, with gloves! haha! Thanks!
The Scientist and I are both very excited to see this in real life. Looks awesome.
Thank you! I hope to see you two beauties soon!!!
That is an amazing collection of glass bottles!
I love walking through "old time' stores or museums and seeing their collections; and yours definitely rivals any that I have seen.
Aww, thanks so much, @goldendawne! I appreciate that!
Very neat and unique collection.
Thank you, @strugglingdiy!
Great collection @hethur240 and lovely arrangement! I don't understand throwing these items away when 1. they're so useful and 2. they make wonderful decorations. I hope this post inspires people to do the same!
I use quite a few in my household to hold trinkets, or bathroom items. I have found corks for a few, as you can see. I'm hoping to find more to fit more so I can use them! Thanks for stopping by, @woman-onthe-wing!
An amazing collection. How old is the
They are anywhere from the early 1900's to the 1970's!
Awesome! All anriques by now
Here you can make a photo session on the topic "Laboratory of the alchemist" :)
Haha! Yes! If only I knew exactly what the bottles were used for!
Oooh thanks for showing us your pretties! I love old bottles!!
Well, thanks for stopping by, @lyndsaybowes!
Looking good on the shelves. Your collection is amazing. My own collections are in storage since I found my Abbigail I have not displayed them. Enjoyed your story. Love
They do take up a lot of room. Finding a place for them when they wobble so they don't fall off the shelf was a challenge itself! Thank you, @abbijulie! I hope you've had a great weekend!
Our weekend is going great. Abbi woke up with a smile and a fever blister on her lips. The smile was so beautiful. Treating the blister. She has no fever. The wonders of our day. Love to you
I hope the fever blister goes away quickly. Those hurt! Her smile is radiant. Hope today is a great day as well! Love!
Thank you! Garlic oil helps out well on the lips. Love
