Garden Vlog : 191118 : Succulents. Black Thumb Friendly.

in #homesteading6 years ago

Squeeee!!!

I gotta say I'm loving the freedom of being able to upload my videos via mobile. I seriously don't know why I didn't do it sooner!

The downfall of yesterday's experiment was the cut out bit at the bottom of my post image and it sucks that I can't edit it.

I'm hoping today's post image is correct and doesn't have anything cut out. Because I'm uploading via mobile I don't have my image templates so you'll have to forgive my lack of post uniformity until I figure out how to get another template made up for mobile.

The Succulents

On to the main topic, the succulents!

I'm pleased to say I learned my lesson and put the plate somewhere else last night and because of that I woke up to the plate exactly as I left it.

Though perhaps the critter had already decided it wasn't a tasting platter and left it alone? Who knows?

Halfway through the video I came to the realisation that these babies are seriously black thumb friendly.

Barring direct assault from wildlife these guys are survivors and can multiply easily. Perhaps not quickly, but definitely easily. The box lady told me to pinch a leaf off and just place it on soil and that's it ~ and she seriously was legit. The more I learn about succulents the more I love them.

On another note, more lesson learning from me, check out our hanging strawberry plant.

I swear some days I think I'm a genius 😉

Where ever you are I hope you're having a beautiful day.

Xxx

Great to see i love my succulents although don't have many. I have just cut of some bits for cuttings and laid them on soil like in this video. Hope it that easy haha! Thanks for sharing 💯🐒

Thanks a lot for showing us these succulents and giving the tip for all the notGreenThumbs :) I would count this as #awesomediycontent because the many tips and gardening is of course diy :P

Peace!
