Today on 2 Minutes with the Farmer we are going to give you a short tutorial on temporary electric fencing for cattle. We use temporary electric fence to move our cattle through our fields. This allows us to be able to use rotational grazing practices here on our farm. Thank you for watching and spending 2 minutes with me!

No electric fencing needed as of yet but what I really liked was the attachment to carry all of your tools...I bet THAT has come in handy!
Is it legal to put up electric fence to keep your neighbor's kids and dog off your property?
I say give it a try;)
You are a great instructor!
Great information! I can use this to help me get a bit more production from my small pastures.
It really does make a difference. Thanks for watching
howdy there @bowentroyer! lol..wow I've put up so much electric fencing in my life on such large pastures that it probably added up to hundreds of miles over the years but everything about your set up is different.
The plastic posts we'd never be able to use in the hard, dry KS dirt, we had to pound steel posts in with sledge hammers. The curled top would work though but what is the wire made of, it looked like fabric or twine?
very interesting thank you!
Ya I am really glad that the ground isn’t to hard here. The wire is a combination of plastic twine with metal wire beaded in it. Thanks for watching. Have a great day
thanks for the education!
