I am always awestruck by the hyper-abundance of my lemon tree. I cannot bear to let my fruit go to waste, and so set about collecting all the windfall, planning lemon recipes for the prettiest specimen, and putting the excess on the curb with a "FREE-HELP YOURSELF" sign.
One of my favorite recipes is Lemon Curd. Now that my pullets are laying, methinks I had better get to work canning some!
This year, I finally managed to have a giant pickle jar on hand to put up some Moroccan Salted Lemons, a fermented delicacy I have been dying to try!
Of course, we always work hard at squeezing as many as possible for homemade lemonade, that is such a cliche, it ought to go without saying ;)
