Which ever is cheapest for your area.
I would aim for supplement before replacing. That way you can check your chicks and eggs and see if they are getting all the nutrients they need before finding the right one.
Also, if possible, pick something that you can grow to seed, so that you might be able to grow your own fodder from scratch.
For me, it would probably more supplemental than replacement. Cause, I gotta make some things a bit easy on myself too! Hahaha. :D
