Look who's here! It seems the new gardening season is starting for me.
Just over a week ago, I wrapped the seeds of sweet (Bulgarian) pepper in a wet cloth, put it all in a jar and left it on the radiator for germination.
Some gardeners take only 2-3 seeds of all kinds for this and call it a germination test. I make such a "test" for all my pepper seeds with next planting the germinated ones into containers. It's absolutely working method. Last year I described it in detail in one of my posts:

Yesterday I checked my hidden jar, and look what I saw there
Among about 10 varieties of sweet peppers, both purchased and our own harvested seeds, the latter showed themselves best.
They have excellent roots and a nice green sprouts, while the purchased ones just started to make their way out. And that made me think about their quality. But anyway, I'm going to give them a chance too.
Will see how it goes further.

Согласна, есть в этом всем какое-то волшебство.
Ну, на крайний случай можно луковицу в воду поставить, или огурец вырастить в горшочке на окне. Это так, если уж сильно хочется. Мы вот с ребенком зимой лук и чеснок сажали на подоконнике, траву для кошки:)
