soon to be me.
I'm funding a bug-out-boat
(with steem..insert gratuitous request for votes here)
I intend it to be as self contained as possible
Solar electric
Distilled water
food from fishing
and
asian quail for eggs and meat
(raised on board)
which will be fed
by plants grown from compost.
kitchen waste don't ya know?
and
stuff.
Real Soon now..
I hope.
Better make sure it has some wind power. You could even do one of those kite sails, as long as it is properly secured to the boat.
I'm definitely considering a kite.
or perhaps a BIG Flying Wing DRone.
secured to the boat.
lift off by battery powered propeller
reach altitude...glide.
pull the boat..
controlled by radio.
when time to come back
reel it in.
land on the boat
it's wings are sunshades
Better use brush-less motors so you can do it stealthy.
good idea...and maybe have a pedal option.
Works for DaVinci.
Hi @everittdmickey thanks for posting. You are now on the list - version 2 coming soon. Love the Bug Out Boat - quail are a good idea for that - they really don't need much space.
thanx.
I saw the quail thing on U-Toob so it must be true.
a guy in AZ was raaising them in his garage.
so I figured why not figure a way to put them on a boat?
Right on, man! Thanks for your service as well. My husband is a vet too. I'll have to go check out your blog!
please do.
I homesteaded for a decade..raised my son onit..
he's still there.
he raised HIS kids on it.
(homeschooled)
One is living at home (why move?)
ten acres is PLENTY of room for three people...and a four bedroom house.
and the other graduated from college and is now living in the big city
Right on. We're on 20 acres out here. Just got it in December!
good for you.
wherebouts?
In Central Oregon. :)
ah...I've been thru there many times...mostly on the interstate (I have stories about cabbage) but sometimes on the backroads (I haz even scarier stories)
My stories have to do with ski ing down a mountain...in a semi truck
That is definitely something that can and does happen around here!
