Long Journey To Get In The Coffee Garden.

Fun on an excursion in the new year 2018, at the beginning of this new year I am @ fauzanramazana vacationing to the mountain area Takengon region known as the paradise of coffee.

One thing I'm looking for here is about Gayo coffee that is famous among coffee lovers.
To reach the point of coffee garden is not easy, because the structure of the road in the mountains is not the same as in the city streets, here the road is passed by many turns and it becomes a bottleneck due to the road so jammed due to heavy cars such as fuso trucks ran on the curve of the road.

Arriving in the garden I first saw was a stretch of lined coffee plants and it was so beautiful.
In the garden, I rested in the usual resting lodge that the farmers used to remove the fatigue during the current harvest.
Moving towards the cabin, I met a farmer who was harvesting coffee fruit.

For picking the required pieces of fruit that is red, red fruit indicates that the fruit is ripe and old enough for the harvest.
Coffee that has been harvested is usually collected into one container that has been brought by farmers, and then should be dried in advance to reduce the water content in the fruit.

After that the coffee that has been dried can be transferred into the room where the next coffee storage will be in the ground to peel the skin of coffee beans and will produce the original coffee beans Takengon.

Once it has become a coffee bean then it can be dried by drying it for 7 days for maximum drying time. Then when the seeds are dry can be done packing of coffee beans to be marketed in the market to be a typical souvenir Gayo land town Takengon.
Maybe just here postings and stories about my journey in the coffee garden, and hopefully there are benefits for us all.
Greetings separated from me @ fauzanramazana, to meet in the next post.
Thanks.
