I used to make it with the kids. It's hard to find milk [cow or goat] without preservatives in the store. They loved watching the milk separate, then straining and stretching, but the didn't like the waiting. ;-)

Since the kit contains biological stuff, it was hard to get into Canada, but this one was allowed across the border. I'm pretty sure that this was the source - it had a very kid friendly instruction book. http://www.cheesemaking.com/
