Best wishes to you.@goldendawne, I would think at this point and time, having a solar electric set, should NOT be an "experiment". Watching these DIY videos more closely, Reid has not really shown a fully operational system powering his houses, one or both, 98% off grid. One shed is most likely powered by solar, but no proof of the houses. And now reading he said he is looking for "used batteries" for the garage, makes me even more suspicious. If a person was being truthful, they would have absolutely no problem showing it, without screen jumps,and double talk.
I could put up a thousand videos about our solar system but you would deny it anyway. There is really no point in trying to talk to you. I will just keep doing my daily videos for the normal people to see.

You take your camera, any camera, and record (without stopping the recording or editing) your solar set-up. You start at the panels, then film the wires Continuously to the charge controller, then to the batteries, then the extension cord plugged into the inverter going to the tiny house, and then to all the appliances being powered or charged in said tiny house. Again, all in one continuous recording session. Then show how much power is been manufactured and consumed throughout the day.
Simple.
I've also noticed you plug devices into the wall sockets in the tiny house. Please also show how these are being powered by your solar set-up.
You have yet to show how you light the interior of the tiny house during some episodes that appear to,be filmed at night. Please also show those lights and how they are being powered by your solar set-up.
I trust you will honor this request to clear any misconceptions you've made in those "thousands of videos" showing little to no actual proof of your claims.
An honest person with nothing to hide would have Absolutely no problem performing this.

Well now I have done that many times. But because the wire goes through the wall in my off grid electronics lab, you will still claim liar because I cannot prove to you where that wire leads. You will scream fake.

actually you have not shown your complete solar setup in Michigan not yet, you did it in NY we want to see everything from the solar panels to the wiring to the batteries, show .sucks imagine all the views you'll get.
You cannot claim 95% off the grid if your still on the grid.
Most people that are off the grid are proud of their solar setup, are you not proud of yours?

LIAR!!! You have never shown solar setup to your HOUSE, trailer or chalet. You are ON GRID and a liar!. You don't have the panels , charge controller, batteries or inverter to power the HOUSE. You can't show what doesn't exist.
@thediyworld The reason you don’t make a video clarifying your solar setup is because your claimed setup to the cabin wouldn’t work. With no batteries and no charge controller, you can’t run any appliances properly off just solar alone. You have to keep on perpetuating a lie instead.
troys system is exactly like mine. I have a 10 w panel and a AAA battery I use to power my entire house. Well except for the appliances and heat and air and lights and everything else, but I am .0000001 % off grid.
