On Wednesday morning I was up at 5AM as I had a lot to do before I left for exercise class. I got my post up, cleaned the kitchen, and started prepping for spring cleaning the living room.
I moved all the plants out of the corner we were to start in.
I got the window shelf folded up and all the furniture moved out of the way. We would be taking out the videos and DVDs and vacuuming them, dusting and polishing the shelves and putting them back. This helps keep mold from starting in the summer humidity.
I had a table ready to move in here to put the movies on as we worked.
I was, of course, closely supervised through all the moving of stuff.
When I was waiting for my neighbor to pick me up for exercise class, I went outside because it was a bit warmer and the sun was out. A good amount of the snow had melted and I was looking for bulbs that might be up. I thought I saw one through the leaves beside the front porch, but the snow was deep to get there and I only had shoes on.
When I got home, a good deal more of the snow had melted, so I climbed back beside the front porch and cleared away the leaves.
There were quite few up under the leaves.
I went early to exercise class because the last Wednesday of each month has a little “coffee hour” before class starts and we can sit and talk. When I got home I got changed and started taking the rack out of the shower.
During my shower, I’d noticed the soap dish was hanging crooked and discovered one side had come lose. It’s held in place with a system of suction cups, Gorilla tape and wire and took a bit to remove it from the wall.
I put some Gorilla glue on it when I did the daily piece of the fairy. We’ll see if it works…
In the middle of doing this, my #2 intern called and said she was not feeling well. She’ll come on Thursday morning. So I finished the rack project and sat down.
I didn’t get anything else done for the rest of the day except watch Gilmore Girls and cook supper.
On Thursday my #2 intern is supposed to come at 8:30AM and we start the project left from Wednesday. At noon my helper friend arrives and he and I will tackle the bathroom. It was done in October so it’s not terrible.
I should be good and exhausted after all this. We are to get snow during Wednesday night and it’s to rain all day. Oh, boy! More mud…sigh…

Nice! Signs of Spring popping up in the garden. Our snow is melting thankfully, and all the ice on the edges of the roof. It's nice to see sunshine for a change.
