One of the geraniums is still flowering
I was up at 5AM on Sunday morning. I got the post up, cleaned up the kitchen, swept the steps and walkways, vacuumed the addition where I’d made a big mess tending plants, potted up the amaryllis, and did a few other jobs.
With all the memory issues, my PT person writes and draws out each of the exercises. I lay them out in order, along with the equipment. Then I make a note when I’ve completed each one. It takes about 20 minutes.
Once PT was done I did the amaryllis. Once the amaryllis was done, I washed up the glass bowl it had been in.
The shells it had come with I had put in my other 2 bowls of shells. But they were heaped so deep, you couldn’t see them well.
So I emptied the bowls, washed them and carefully arranged the shells in all 3 bowls. That kept me occupied for a good long while.
Now it’s much easier to see all the different kinds of shells in the collections.
It was early afternoon when I finished. I’d started the stoves early because the temperature was dropping fast. It was going to be single digits or below 0F during the night. Then I sat down to watch a movie.
Tom arrived late afternoon with the milk delivery and my Christmas present. He’d gotten me a Spooky2 Energy Balancer. He’d gotten one for himself last year and decided I could use one.
They are pretty complicated to use, so I can see Tom will be spending a good amount of time over here teaching me to use it! It had a TENS unit which at this point is a thing I think might help me some. So this will be a winter project.
When I went to turn on the candles, I noticed the floor cracks had opened up again. Even the one by the hearth which we thought had been permanently fixed. Sigh… They aren’t bad yet, but with the stoves going full bore because of the cold, it doesn’t look good.
On Monday, I have over 100 photos to edit, laundry to do, exercise class, and stoves to stay on top of because it’s supposed to be single digits-low teens for temp during the day. There will be some sun so that will help.
Many types of shells, two whole bowls. Looks very nice if the photo is zoomed in.
How come you have 100 photos to edit?
Are you a photographer?
No, but sometimes I take several of each shot if they might not turn out well. And sometimes I just find a lot of things to photograph. But I am a LONG way from being a photographer. I just have an old camera that takes nice photos when I happen to get it right.. if I take enough of them....
I like to cellect shells too!
