Azalea in snow
Monday morning I was up early and resumed editing the photos and got the first post up. I took a break and got laundry started. Then I got the 2nd post up while I had a warm cup of hot cacao.
We had gotten at least 6” of snow in the night. My brother had to go to work and Tom wasn’t going to be available to plow.
So I went out and got the walkway and the steps swept and sanded all around the house. It was very cold out and between all the sweeping (which is easier than shoveling) and the cold; I was wiped out when I got back inside. So I rested until after lunch.
Moonset at dawn
Sunday night just before I went to bed, my broken tooth cracked in half. Not much pain and the toothache plant poultice took care of that, but it makes eating hard, as it hanging there like a loose tooth when you were a kid.
About 1PM I got up and got started taking the bubble lights off the tree. Then I started packing away all the ornaments.
Later in the afternoon, I was closely supervised.
My brother plowed as soon as he got home in late afternoon. My son had gone out and done most of the shoveling mid afternoon.
The plowing being supervised
I worked until about 6:30PM and got 4 more boxes ready to go upstairs.
We got the fires going as it was to be very cold during the night, below 0F.
On Tuesday I need to finish the laundry, get the bubble lights checked and packed away, and start taking lights off the tree. My helper friend will be here and he has a lot of boxes to get upstairs and I will need a lot of wood brought in. It’s to be a very cold but sunny day. I also need to clean up the kitchen.
Wow! You worked fast! Already got four boxes! You should help me putting all my clutters into boxes and labeling them. I have got boxes but no energy to get in on this project yet!
I think I am happy with sweeping fallen leaves. Sweeping snow in cold weather is not my cup of tea.
I’m sorry to ask, how many times do you do laundry in a week?
Just once on Monday, but I seldom finish it, so it drags out over the week.
That is too much of snow
The weather will certainly be so cold

How long did it take you to remove the bubble lights off the tree?
About an hour, but much longer to make sure they were all working and then pack them carefully away.
Yes, so that they could be used next time without them not having any fault.
One would hope, but inevitably, when I get them out, some are dead. So I also check them again before using.
Does your son also help you do some farm works?
Sometimes, but only when I make him.
Your tooth is broken, very sad. Stay healthy and well.
That's so much snow, but the moon during day is so cool
