Before sunrise
Sunday morning I didn’t get up until nearly 6:30AM, having slept 9½ hours. Someone was quite perturbed, so I got him fed first. I got my post up and then got a shower and got a load of dishes in the dishwasher. I sat down for a while then decided to get the wreathes bagged up and ready to go to the attic.
One had a hanger I could hook over the door, but I needed a hook to hang the kissing ball. So I found one and tried to find a stud in the alcove by knocking and made several holes before “light dawned on marble head” that I had a stud finder and just maybe I should use it. Sigh….
We had gotten more snow in the night, so things were barely white again in places. If you look closely at the corner of the porch in the bottom photo you can see lots of bunny tracks.
Once the wreathes were in the alcove to go to the attic, I decided to start the recycling.
So in order to start the recycling, I had to evict the cat from the office chair. I’m getting the stink eye in the top photo as I get started. He roamed around trying to find some place to sleep and finally settled on the bags, until I need 2 of them.
He eventually settled into my chair, on top of the stuff needing shredded. I had spent 2½ hours on it and gotten the shredder filled when Tom arrived with the milk order. He regaled me with stories and photos and videos of himself cutting through 5” of ice with a hand auger and an electric chainsaw so the polar plunge area would be accessible. Definitely NOT my cup of tea!
When I saw he was here, I had taken the head off the shredder and set it outside to cool down. When he left, it was fine to do the last half hour of shredding and cleanup. I got 4 very full grocery bags.
Once that was done, I made some lunch and sat down to watch movies.
When I went to pull shades at 5PM, there was a bunny by the back porch steps. It’s probably the one making tracks in the snow.
I had gone out to get a shot of the nearly full moon through the trees as it rose.
On Monday I have a short exercise class because I have to leave early for an appointment. I hope to finally get the kitchen cleaned up and the laundry done. I also have to go to the pet store with my brother when he gets home to get Larry’s birthday stuff.
The snow definitely looks so heavy. I hope it didn't affect your daily activities
Wasn't enough of it to really bother.
There is a lot of snow all around, the moon is visible through the trees, Amazing Photography

Happy birthday to Larry in advance.🍮🍷
The moon is looking so beautiful
Someone is getting all the attention, and I'm jealous. He loves sitting in the best places, he loves the best positions, he loves comfort. I mean Larry.
The bunny is really so cute!
Good sleep tough!
But it looked like a full day, Larry always doing company 🤣
Yup! The cold front has spread everywhere! Here In Nongkhai, the temperature has come down to one digit in the morning! Very unusual and this could be the coldest on record.
Luckily we don’t have any snow yet! Perhaps in five years’ time. You did a lot is shredding. I often had to cut these pieces of paper manually.
