On Sunday morning it occurred to me that on Tuesday the window guy was coming and I had no storm windows washed. I couldn’t do them on Monday as I was supposed to do stuff with my sister.
So I collected the equipment and got busy washing. I got 14 of them done before I stopped for lunch.

I got outside around 12:00PM and started mowing. I finally finished about 3:30PM. I’m going to have to see if I can get my #2 intern to come and help me rake up places like gardens and crannies that are full of leaves.

I had just gotten into the shower when the contractor arrived to fix the washer, again. While I was gone during the week, my son ran a load of laundry and it leaked all over the floor.
On Friday I asked my helper friend to take off the hoses and reinstall them as it looked to me like at least 1 was cross threaded. So we did that and ran a test load and all seemed fine. But there was water all over the floor on Sunday morning after doing another wash load.
So my contractor came back out and determined that one of the hoses was cross threaded again and got it sorted out. Then he fixed the weatherstripping on the back door. That had been coming off and being replaced back every week or so.
He ended up replacing it and stapling it into place. One more job off the list. But he hasn’t come to try to repair the old washer yet. I hope he does soon.

Seeing as my helper friend and I had emptied the truck on Friday, my son could now wash up the lawn chairs and load them into the truck to go to the barn.
Sorry for the screen effects. I drove it up to the barn and he got them unloaded and put away. Check off another autumn chore.
I had spent bits of time after we returned home on Thursday combing through my old photos of my mom and editing them for a post. I was finally able to finish it and get it up on Sunday.
Sunday supper was zucchini ravioli. I am so glad I put the time into making so many of them. They’ve been a life saver when I am so exhausted.

On Monday my sister is taking me to do a lot of errands, some of which are preparing for the funeral on Wednesday. I also plan to do some big grocery shopping. And there’s always the laundry…
