For the past few weeks my grandson, Kaleb, wanted me to make him a car to drive down the road. He saw the plans in my son-in-laws old Cub Scout handbook and just had to have it.
It was a pretty simple project. I just had to buy a few screws, threaded rod for axles, and the wheels. The rest was all scrap lumber. It turned out okay and he is happy with it, but I may make another because I think the design can be improved upon.
Have a great day! Every comment is up-voted to show our appreciation and thanks for your up-vote, Tim and Joann.
I want one of those, but I'm afraid the seat will have to be significantly larger.
Kaleb looks really happy with his new vehicle. The homestead grandpa does it again! @ironshield
Looks pretty cool for a kid. Maybe in the next model add some pedals?
I bet my boys would love that!
Y0 ho ho, and the motor is next....
Nice vehicle!
With your handyman skills I am sure that it only took you an hour to make!
No, it took me about three hours :)
I think you can do better! :-D
Maybe on the next one!
Neat! Is it gravity powered?
We are on a hill, but the problem is the ruts in the road and pulling it back up the hill.
Awesome!
I wish I had a grandfather like you when I was growing up. That looks like fun ;)
