Yes. They are called corkers. They have metal studs in them. It keeps you from slipping on the rocks. Helps with the fast-moving current. You are allowed to keep three salmon per day.

Thanks! It is an awesome adventure. We don't get to get away often. We try to make it count with the only few days we get. These are an amazing and Powerful fish caught on fairly light tackle and a pretty small body of water. It is hard to believe even when you're there. Beautiful setting and peaceful place for camaraderie.
